Headlamp washer

So i have read about people having washers sit up and not retract properly before, its never been an issue for me until last night, car has been sat out in the cold etc

Anyway, noticed it after i was out for some shopping, and after a spirited drive home, i thought it would have reset itself, but noticed that one of the bastard caps are now missing... quality Audi  so i need a passenger side washer part if anybody has one or knows of any breakers, that would be a great help cheers

Cheers Shopp, top man

So its definitely 2 and im sure 5 is gone also, is 5 fixed or does it move with the pressure?

Any hints as to where else i could try for these other than Audi? I have a feeling stock wont be great, but i'll try them first

Strange that part 2 would be missing as well - its made up of a few bits. Essentially on pressurisation of the water, a part extends out from the bumper and sprays the water on the lights. Double check to see if it actually squirts water still. If it is missing, then water is going to be firing out the bumper or inside the bumper if the whole thing is gone. Might be worth checking it hasn't broken loose and ended up in the bumper.

Thats a good point, it currently looks like a black hole to me and i havent had a proper look so maybe that section has slid down further after the cap at the top has come off, i'll get a better look at the weekend and see whats actually missing and required but it does look like theres nothing left

Is there anything more useless than a headlight washer?

Yes, but on a family forum they might open up points of discussion that could keep you awake at nights.

True, they just waste screen wash really, but i now have an unsightly hole in the front bumper which i cant stand, so my ocd needs it sorted

So looks like its missing the pipe section that lifts up with pressure, and also the cap on top

Can any of you extremely helpful gentlemen with your catalogue access, let me know what the part number is for the passenger side (UK of course) thingamebob that skooshes water, and also the cap to suit, and any cross reference numbers

Can you see what the part number is on the right hand side cap? You might have to (gently) prise it up.

Good shout, the part number would only be one digit out from that one i'd imagine, but currently working day and back shift so probably be the weekend before i get a look at it

Its more the skoosher assembly im concerned about, hopefully its not a bumper off job
