I do hear what people are saying, but on the flip side, if I have paid for something, why would I then pay someone else to fix it ? At that rate I am going to be close to £3k for a cambelt and service which is beyond ridiculous, even by RS standards.
If I don't get anywhere, I may have to look at taking this further.

It’s no fun having to fight to get what you paid for.
I’ve been there and done that a few times.
Hope the garage do the right thing and sort it for you at no additional cost. Fingers crossed.
