Armrest pivot trim part number?
A previous owner had a pioneer headunit installed and ran cables through into the armrest.
In doing so they removed the armrest's pivot trim to get the cables into the armrest space.
Now it just looks like a missing bit of trim.
I can't seem to find the bit of plastic as a separate element.
Does anyone know if this is a separate part number or part of the armrest 'set'?
I thought I'd add a picture of the replaced aircon controls and switches. When I got the originals into daylight you could see how worn they were.
Having these tidy lifts the whole interior!

That armrest looks terrible! Bloody DPO.
Looks like you need 4B0898277 6PS.

Shouldn’t be too hard to find a second hand one.

Re: Headrest pivot trim part number?
another question, is the 6PS colour the interior 'black' colour for all C5 RS6's?
(Soul) Black?
I've read there are other blacks, but this is ours?

Shop. Have you purchased goods from Audi tradition. I tried recently but didn’t seem to accept a UK address when you enter your details.

Re: Headrest pivot trim part number?
I've managed to find a colour matching spare so I can now fix the armrest.
Does anyone else have USB charging cables in the armrest?
My car came with the phone-option...with a now vintage charming Nokia: Does anyone know how this Nokia got it's power into the armrest?
I ask as I can't see a way that the power can fit through the pivot and the trim also be clipped in. I guess I'm missing something. There appears to be a factory power output from the armrest but I don't get how it down into the underside of the handbrake for power? When the trim has no gap to accommodate it:

Re: Headrest pivot trim part number?
IIRC it goes down into the trim around the handbrake. It all comes apart quite easily. You need to pull out the base for the gear selector gaitor to access screws. I'm struggling to remember. I had the same as you and ripped it out.

Re: Headrest pivot trim part number?
So in theory I should be able to get a USB cable to the armrest without a visible connection and with all the trim?
I'll take it apart and I'm sure it'll become apparent
