Not the greatest of photos but shows that the 12mm fit okay. I’m going to fit my standard alloys for the winter with the 12mm spacer so interested to see how they work out just need to buy longer bolts

No the locking wheel bolts have since been fitted so all good now, the bolts they fitted originally in my opinion were a tad too short so I bought 5mm longer ones including the locking ones. I will need to do the same to fit the original alloys back on for the winter with the 12mm spacer, it will be interesting to see how they look.

Decided I would get the spacers and get it all sorted out in one go.

Would like to get them from Virdee but figured my being in Holland would be problamatic. I went to the guys I got the rims from before, but he was the guy who got me thinking H&R aren't hub-centric:
"I can offer the 3mm or 8mm spacers from H&R, or I can have 5mm spacers custom made. What I however do not like personally on these thin spacer is that they do not have a hub centric ring, and will make the hub centric ring of the car thinner."

As I won't be getting them from him I'll source them from Germany. After some more digging, I found H&R 1655572 '5X112 DR 57MM CB 8MM, TRAK+ hubcentric wheel spacers'....steel:

Aluminium is better to reduce unsprung weight? Seems more powerful cars than mine run aluminium?

Just wanted to check these are the correct part number if I want an 8mm offset? I'm not missing something? (measured and 8mm will get me aligned nicely with the arches)

Version 1 is aluminium and non-hubcentric: (HS 1655571)

Yeah, you definitely don't want the flat ones.

I don't like the look of those black bolts, though. I got mine from Virdee and he supplied me with the ones with the floating radius seats like the OE bolts.

/suppose if your wheels are black it doesn't matter.
//And thinking about it, the ones on my M3 are black and it doesn't bother me, although they are pretty sunken.
