Cheers Mav, this code was there at the same point the fi25 code was there.
Now the switch has been changed this code is pointing towards the harness or the solenoid...I'm guessing of course.

Thanks Mr Shopp but would really like to rule everything out first.
My plan for the weekend was to lift the drivers side carpet and have a visual check on the TCU and connections.
Is there not a measuring block check i could do on the solenoid ?

Yeah, I thought I posted them a couple of weeks ago. Maybe it was on a different thread.

Remind me tomorrow and I’ll look again.

You didn't remind me.

Clear the code, then go for a drive and log the measuring block 006 in the TCU along with group 001 to get the input rpms and current gear. Also 004 for good measure, to check the F125. Note when the fault occurs.

I suspect the 16 pin connector to the gearbox harness - it's a commonish failure point. Disconnect the TCU (ignition off) inside the car and test the resistance between these pins:

52 and 53
1 and 53
1 and 34

And tell me what the measured resistance is.

Sorry Shopp had a busy weekend, f125 has been replaced with new.
The fault code won't come back till its been sitting for a while like over night but will check the measuring blocks as you said.
Had it up on the ramp and checked 16 pin connector and it was spotless but I know the doesn't go for much and will check the resistance during the week and report back.
Thanks.

All your currents go negative. That can’t be good.

Doesn't really change anything. Could be bad connection, bad harness or bad TCU. My gut feeling is that it's the TCU, but need to eliminate everything else first because of the cost.
