I just used google translate.
And the ones you need for the SAI are simple enough codes.

Gearbox can only be done by replacing the eprom physically

Thanks for the swift reply!

Translation: surely Google will get the job done on a case by case basis, but I'd love to be able to browse through the list (and not only for SAI removal), at least for my education. Looks like the xdf is a plain text file (ascii coding is not straightforward though as some characters are wrongly displayed on my text editor), so I suppose an automated approach could potentially work..

Gearbox remap : how shall I start, any hints you'd be willing to share on the subject?

Ok I'll browse the forum history then, ta!

Just found out that 034 Motorsport has an option to upgrade the TCU software through the OBD port :
https://store.034motorsport.com/c5-audi ... grade.html Any idea about how does that correlate with the above?

Interesting. Flashing through obd2 has always been an option for the dealer, but I’ve never heard any third parties being able to do it.

That’s assuming that the ad is correct and they don’t just tell you to send them your TCU when it comes to it.

I seem to remember reading that thread a number of years ago. Probably when I was considering getting Hoppen to mod my TCU.

Thinking about it, in flipper S mode, does the MTM tcu hit the rev limiter before/without changing gear automatic?
I seem to remember when i drove in s mode at about 4500rpm for some time, it would change to a lower gear...
That is very annoying.
Thats what i really want to have changed in mine in the near future.

I'm having a hard time injecting a custom map done by a pro mapper, it's constantly bricks my ecu. Looks like the nefarious 's checksum fixer (me7sum) doesn't work with the 7.1.1 http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/i ... ic=12947.0

Sure i read somewhere that the design of the box/software is if there is no driver input when in manual mode for 5seconds or more, then it goes back to automatic as standard

If you want you can send me your ori and the custom map and I can checksum the file for you. when you say it bricks your ecu checksum issues usually allow you to start the car once but after switch off wont start again.

I have found that if you move the gear lever over into tip tronic mode ie across from D then the car tends to stay in whatever gear you select unless either the rpm is too low or too high so gear down condition or gear up condition
