Hi guys

As you know if owned my car for nearly two months now and haven’t really suffered any major issues (touch wood). So I thought it appropriate I buy Hilda an anniversary present. I was thinking that a Miltek exhaust would probably be a good start but without hearing the difference between the resonated and none resonated I can’t decide which one to go for. (I’m not a fan of listening for difference on YouTube)

Are there any local owners to me who would be willing to take me out for a little drive just so I can decided which way I want to go? I’m in the PO9 area and am will to travel 20 odd miles to listen to your exhaust.

Thank you for your time today Steve and taking me out for a ride in both your wonderful C5 RS6s. I wish we had time for a spin in your C6 RS6.

I was surprised that, IMO, there was too much difference in the noise between both the resonated and none resonated systems. However the was certainly enough of a difference between them and my standard exhaust to make one.

Lots of interesting things in those photos.

They are aero engines used as wind machines for film /tv work.
Not as fast as the RS6’s !!!!but they do make some noise!!

Hmmm. I could use one of those to blow my neighbour’s grass smoke back at them...

In full geek mode, at least one of them has an old Chrysler outboard motor throttle

Let me know when, I can bring an Avus silver one with straight through exhaust or Miltek non res I'm near the Dorset / Hampshire border.

Give me some warning and I’ll put mine back on the road too
