Cool hidden tech

Just found a simple yet really useful hidden bit of tech on the Audi.
Went fishing today, popped the rear seat centre arm rest down to poke the rod through from the boot and it had a sleeve to cover the rods and make sure nothing touched the interior. Doesn’t look like it’s ever been used.
Are there any other little gems worth mentioning?

I found a PlayStation plumbed into my rear armrest where the first aid kit was supposed to be.

It’s for storing a shotgun out of public view.
So you can rob a bank. And then pay audi the extortionate prices for doing work on our cars.
Ps Chris.
You cannot go skiing on fishing rods.

It wasn't hidden, more a case of you never looked before lol . it was standard equipment in the Avant, listed as
'Through load facility ( ski bag)"
Although I do like steve2003rs6's idea of the shotgun and the reason for it.

I can’t ski on skis either. I might have more luck with using the skis for fishing though.

I’ve now got an indelible image of you smashing fish with skis.

Lol I had the same image smashing fish.
Also a pain to neatly return the bag to the storage compartment.
A bit like the cluster cables. Needs another two inches.
That reminds me. My wife said the same thing the other night. Needs another two inches.

Only had the car 8 years. Recently found the bit of plastic above the rear view mirror that fills the gap between the sun shades.

Lol. The rod was good enough...
Yes, I found the small sun visor. A nice bit of engineering for a problem that does exist.

You must of been very careful with the skis. Can hardly see where you clubbed it.

The 'loon had the ski load through bag. I recommend not using it though, you need to be an origami master to get the bag back in situ.

If the ski bag is anything like the A8 version you can remove the bag easily by unclipping it.
Mine is now folded inside a strong B4 envelope stuffed down by the spare wheel under the boot floor.

Bam bam. Exactly. Origami master to get it back neatly stored.
Gonna see if mine unclips as member suggested.
Ps any gin and tonic left

And if you look at the lid the wrong way, it'll break.
