So I've been trying to log MAF values using me7 or vag-lite and not getting a good connection but values bank1 much lower than bank2 , this lead me to inspect the Mafs and check the wiring.. mafs both good as tested on a 1.8t . Input voltage is low ~1.8v where it should be 12v? Green/yellow striped wire., no codes and runs , although feels a bit slow (6+secs to 60 ,tested it as it had been a while in the 6 so I forgot what it shud feel like)
Any help appreciated- is the 12v in the engine loom coming from a particular relay?
Someone help me with wiring diagram., Elsa wont open its too big for my hard drive
Maf wiring / troubleshooting
Re: Maf wiring / troubleshooting
Ok so I got Elsawin running , and it appears the wiring leads from d22 fuse 234., (28, 32 , 34) which are fed from the fuel pump relay .
Re: Maf wiring / troubleshooting
Voltage at the fuses was very low and bypassing the fuel pump relay restored the 12v at the Maf so new relay ordered and on to the next issue as some codes showing now
Re: Maf wiring / troubleshooting
That's a weird failure. Unfortunate.
