Outside temp sensor - Possible to calibrate?

My outside temp is showing apx 3 Celcius to much at any given time. I have compared to the A6 that shows more or less correct.
Changed the sensor without any luck.
Can these be calibrated/adjusted in more or less them same ways as the tank gauge via
VCDS?
Thanks

The outside air temp has always been total fantasy. I don't know how they got it so wrong on the RS6.
This is something that bugged me when I first got the car and I don't remember finding a way to adjust it with the
Vagcom. I'm pretty sure there is no way to calibrate it with the
Vagcom. I haven't looked for years, though.
Presumably it's a thermocouple type sensor. You could try putting a potentiometer in parallel with the sensor to see if you can make an offset. Not sure how that would affect linearity, though.
I seem to remember the issue with the sensor being one of location. You could try putting it somewhere where it's less sensitive to heat soak from the engine.
