What is this?

Post by Frustratedracer » Sun Apr 05, 2020 6:57 pm

De-cluttering the old girl (car not wife.... although but not a bad idea) and junking the outdated DVD player/headrest screens, etc.
Following some wiring that initially looked OEM as it is sheathed in the fabric style loom wrap, found this stuck to the inside of the back bumper, nearside.
Any idea what it is?

Not OE.

Maybe a tracker antenna.

Yeah, could be. I will need to try and trace the wiring back to source.
I chucked out an old tracker/battery back up/wiring that was sitting in the nearside boot well but it wasn't connected to this.
Not to say there isn't another one lurking about somewhere.
Don't like having unnecessary/redundant kit rattling around - adds weight,blunts performance :)
