Quick job, removed the unknown brand DV's and installed a pair of GFB DV's. No expectations of any magical change but I'm a fan of the GFB parts so why not?

The GFB part is on the left and the no brand DV on the right.

Done. Now to finish the engine cover clips.

One thing I am a little envious of is the absolute lack of corrosion anywhere. Looks very tidy.

Australian delivered cars are by and large like that although I have seen a couple that look like they were parked in a swamp all their lives. This photo came from a car that was up for sale locally. Even the DV's are installed incorrectly, although you might miss that when looking at the crud.

Mine really is a bit like stepping into a 16 year old new car. Hunt around and you'll find some light layers of dust in the engine bay from the roads so it hasn't been washed / steam cleaned in years, if ever. Underneath is the same. Even my RS4 with 280,000 Km up is unmarked underneath. Lucky location!
