What taillights are those?! My A6 parts car came with them and I'm trying to sell them lol.

Possibly Dectain/Dectane?

They are In.Pro C5 A6 rear lights, in my experience the best aftermarket rear lights for these cars, people can actually see you indicating with these ones!

I thought I was the only one that still used indicators.

Yeah, same. After all, there could be someone you haven't seen.

Just a subconscious action really, shouldn't even have to be thought about....plenty out there who seem to have difficulties with the basics

It's the middle or outside lane hoggers that really bug me

The lane hoggers used to bother me, but now they don't so much. Maybe because there are so many of them, maybe because the traffic is so dense now anyway.

What irritates me the most now are people who can't maintain a constant speed. There are so many of them. I'm always using cruise and the number of people who accelerate unconsciously when you are overtaking is surprisingly high. Worse, those who accelerate to such an extent that you have to pull in behind then slow down so you have to pull out to overtake them again. Muppets.

I do it in my M3. Confuses people no end. Also, sometimes I am at less than 5000 rpm. I am not a proper M3 driver.

/might have veered off topic slightly. Still, we're all here because we are already RS6 fans so the topic might have run its course.
