Green C5 Avant spotted at Caffeine and Machine

Post by MikeFish » Sat May 25, 2019 5:34 pm

Spotted a green C5 Avant parked in one of the prime parking places at Caffeine and Machine earlier today. Anyone on here?

Unusual colour. Can’t be many of those around.

Huh, didn't know it existed. I'll check it out one of these days.

Well worth a visit on a nice day. Some quality cars there today, old and new. And it'll be a nice drive if you avoid the motorways.

Great. I know some nice country roads to get there. :-p

Looks like Goodwood Green. Been a long time since I heard about one of those on here.

Shame about the wing mirrors.

What's wrong with the mirrors? Are they they not the best options? Didn't realise there was more than one type on the C5.

They are supposed to be brushed aluminium. He must have painted his or replaced them with A5 ones. It's one of the features that makes the RS6 unique.

Has to be aluminium, just doesn't look right otherwise.

Seems a daft idea having the wing mirrors a different colour to the rest of the car but it works on the RS models.
