Spotted RS6

Post by MattyVRS6 » Thu May 16, 2019 8:26 pm

Currently staying at the Mercure Hotel in Hale as I'm off on holiday tomorrow and spotted this mint debadged RS6.

Looks to be the same colour as the one off Layer Cake, wonder if they're on this forum...

Anyway it's made the start of my holiday but not my wifes as I keep chewing her ear off about getting one

They’re a rare sight these days, good spot.

And just buy one they don’t disappoint and are only going to rise in value from here so play it off as a sound investment!

Yeah I haven't seen one for a while, bit sad how excited I got when I had to move my car and I got to have another look at it.

That's a good one, think I'll use that to offset the fuel argument!

I can average 22 -24 mpg with mine which I don’t see as that bad, the wife’s forester gets less than that and it’s a manual.

I "can" average that, but I don't. I drive it rarely enough that mpg doesn't matter.

Unfortunately taking mine out is a rare occasion and so the wife and kids demand on coming only for the wife to go ballistic every time I exceed 70 mph

It's not about exceeding 70.....

It's all about how quickly you reach it :bigblink:

I have an E430 estate as a dog car and that does 250 miles on a full tank (£84). Surely can't be as bad as that!

Then again you don't buy a 4.2 twin turbo V8 if your worried about fuel consumption.

I’d never get away with a 0-60 launch lol, she’d ban me from ever driving it again. Very sensible is the boss!
