Minimum wear thickness of brake discs.

Post by audi_driver79 » Tue May 07, 2019 9:44 am

Hi,
I know its stamped on the discs but does anyone know the minimum thickness of front and rears? My rear perforated Zimmermanns have been scored by a stuck caliper so just wanted to work out if it would be worth skimming as opposed to a new pair.
I might still get a new pair and get the old ones skimmed anyway just wanted to check my options as I know they are rightly a VERY important feature on the car. I dont actually know how much material gets skimmed off anyway or is it just as much as is necessary to flatten the surface as the marks arent very deep. TIA
