New Gearbox oil sump required.

Post by audi_driver79 » Fri May 03, 2019 11:53 am

Hi, my mechanic has said mine is pretty rotten and has a slight leak and TPS are charging about £300 for one. As always I know things will be expensive but has anyone got any contacts or sellers on ebay.de that would be worth trying? TIA

You could ask ZF for a price. I *think* it's part number 1058 203 027 but you should double check with them.

Was advised mine had a small dent in it by MRC last inspection. If you manage to find a cheap supplier let me know!

Try
https://www.sussexautos.co.uk/zf-transmissions.php
They are ZF Transmission specialists, I spoke to them about a new one, they require the gearbox code etc.

Hard to say. There are at least 3 different ZF references for the 5HP24A sump pan. That is likely one of them but which one? There's no ZF or Audi cross-reference data.
