Just had another look. The thread pitch is 2mm on the cap. If your cap needs rotating 90 degrees then you would need a 0.5mm spacer. Let me know if you want one and I will print one out for you. I'll need to know how many degrees out it is.

Isn’t it common to pull the cap apart and re-fit the top at the right orientation?

Looks like they are talking about the oil filler cap though.

At nearly £100 i'll stick with my Blue golf looking one :)

US$180 for the oil and coolant cap. Considering that some shops were asking $265 just for the cooling cap, not a bad price. The blue one is FREE though :)
