new owner.
Thought I would post some photos after my first session of cleaning, I also replaced the ARB drop links that the kind previous owner supplied.
Had a really good look around and its in great condition, really happy. It drives so nicely, can't believe you can get this sort of driving car for circa 10k! its madness.
I was sceptical about the coil overs, but so far I am really impressed, feel really good on the road, I have been looking long and hard, but failing to find any mention of other peoples camber / castor / toe setups? I will be putting it on the alignment machine to see what I have for reference. any steer top a thread if there is one would be appreciated.
Its only weak point is a judder at slightly higher speeds, and a pulsing feel when pulling up to lights, I have had this before on a bmw. Pads and disks have been replaced not so long ago, I am guessing its a warped disc, any luck skimming, or is it time just to replace.
The radio and interior lights had an issue of not turning off / on when the key was removed / inserted in the ignition. I thought I may swell start wit the obvious, fuse box. well bugger me the fuse was missing, plugged in a spare, walla! it works, nothing ever fixes that easily for me, I also have the radio info on the drivers inst. cluster.

Re: new owner.
Nice pics. Not a phone camera, I suspect.
Maybe that fuse was pulled for a reason. Current drain? You'll soon find out now doubt.
Before messing with the brakes, do a bedding in procedure.

Re: new owner.
Thanks for the tip, I have however tried the bedding in, but no luck. Yep not a camera phone, Sony A7 and a half decent lense. Really enjoy taking snaps with it.
Re: new owner.
For your pulsing feel on the brakes, check all your control arms for play as well.
Re: new owner.
Thanks for the replies.
After fitting the drop links, I cleaned out the brake holes as suggested, then went through a bedding in procedure, again. It seems to have cured it.
Nice spending a couple of days polishing and cleaning the car. Feels a bit more like my car now.

Re: new owner.
Little update, i have been using it daily as my Defender has spat its dummies out, just in time for the snow, could not make it up, well.....
Anyway the RS has been superb, no problem on the 24 mile drive in the snow to work, on summer tyres!
Its been averaging 19/21 Mpg ( calculated not computer) which i am pleased about. It really is an incredible car, living up to my expectations!
I’m looking at ordering new brakes, i have spent a lot of time reading all the posts, bewildering amount of comments on this topic!!
Últimot seem to have good prices for disks, but really expensive pads, so ill go OEM pads, currently on Brembo, not a massive fan tbh.
Its going ups on the Ramp next weekend to get a full check over of the bushings, alignment and general nosey, by a good workshop owner i know.
Soon to book into MRC for its anual service, Martin was very helpful when i was purchasing, giving me lots of useful info.

Re: new owner.
How much are the Ultimot pads? And what are they? I like Ultimot. They are helpful.
When you say OEM, presumably you mean Audi / TPS supplied?

Re: new owner.
Últimot want for “Textar Performance brake pads front BB424 for 245 Euros”
They seem to be really helpful, pushing me for the bigger brakes, but I’m not in Germany averaging 250km/h happy with the stopping power for now.
By oem I do mean Audi, after reading so many differing opinions on here it seems a safe bet?!
Re: new owner.
Yeah, that's what I'd go for.
