Wheel fitament?

So currently happy with the standard RS wheels but due a refurb soon, keeping an eye out for any bargains I’ve spotted a nice set of wheels but just want to check if these will squeeze on a C5 without any issues

20x10.5
ET 30

Anybody fitted similar before? Just want to be sure they will fit and no arch/tyre contact etc. Recommended tyre size for these also, will 255 work or have to go up to 265?

Wheels currently don’t have tyres or I’d fit them to trial them first, need to know if they are fitting comfortable before pulling the trigger on these, cheers lads

Oh, and Merry Crimbo

ET offset and, "will they fit", are only a guide, as I have experienced. The best way is try before you buy. Even if the wheels are far away it's better to drive there as the grief you will face is far worse than a long drive and certainty. I wish you good luck, keep us updated with photo's. I'm always interested in different wheels.

^^what he said. My feeling is that they won't fit.

For 10.5 you'll have to go minimum 265 tyre width. 265/30/20 will give you an overall diameter similar to OE. They tyres will look stretched, though.

Not looking for a stretched look, but don’t mind if it has slightly to get them to fit, but like I said trying them will be an issue as they are being sold without tyres, still waiting on seller getting back to me aswell so will see what he says first.

They are local and a lovely wheel so I’m keen to make them work, not so keen on a 30 profile tyre though, will have a think...

If you go wider than 265 you might have to go to a 25 profile tyre.

Even just trying the rim on for size will give you an idea.

Just thinking aloud, they are 1.5" wider than the existing wheel plus at ET30 they will stick out 5mm more. That means the outer edge of the rim is going to protrude 25mm further than the OE rim. I think it will look silly.

Definitely don’t want to go down more profile either, and the rest makes too much sense, think I’ll let these go then, don’t want rims out arches, tyre contact, stretch etc

Cheers lads
