How cool would that be, living in the Delorian Factory.

Got 2 kids here, I guess I get the idea.. But still 🍄💉😅

Btw, just ordered those spacers. Now I just cross fingers they'll fit perfectly.. Both ways you'll get the news.

Have you also ordered the right length bolts from JR to suit your wheels and to fit the spacers?

Hi Daveperc, thanks for the post, just to be sure : the spacers come with their own bolts to attach to the hub, and the JR bolts will be used to attach the rims to the spacers. Are you saying there's a risk the JR bolts may be too long and touch the hub?

They’ll probably protrude 10mm. The hub is about 9mm thick. You’ve got 15mm depth to play with.

Update : once the JR bolts are placed onto the rims, they protude 22mm. Knowing the spacers are 25 mm thick, I'd say I'm good to go, or?

Assuming you have the bolts fuly seated in the rims when you made the measurement you should be fine (just!!)

Good luck!!

Yes, the bolt were pushed to the max into the rim for the measurement. Thanks!

Surely they need to be slightly longer ? 3mm of bolt for all that weight ? Surely that's only a couple of turns from fully loose to fully tight ?

Ah.... I see.... So the spacers are bolting directly to the hub and then the wheel is bolting to the spacer ? Much like an actual "Adapter"

Most spacers I have used simply sit on the hub and the wheel bolts hold it all together, I guess being 25mm this is not a good idea.

Sooo looks like I've screwed up big time : with the 25mm spacers the wheels are now dangerously protruding outside the skirts. The rear side could have been ok (spacers are not needed as the calipers are much smaller than the front ones), but there's no way we could find a proper solution for the front (change ET / spacers etc) without touching the car's body which I didn't want. I'm now back to square 1, meaning I need to find a nice set of rims for the car (I'm open to offers and suggestions)

For my punishment, you're welcome to have a good laugh with the following pics! :bash: Too bad, I really liked these rims..
