Castle Combe Audi internstional

Post by Nick weeden » Wed Oct 10, 2018 8:31 am

Looking at going to the Audi international this Saturday so I’m wondering if RS246 will have a stand there like last year and if so how do you go about putting my car there ?

Go to the meets sections and add your name to the list.

Bugger, I only just saw this after the thread was closed, hahahahahaha!

Think I went to ADI twice perhaps (can't remember these days, certainly 2012)? Getting stuck down by the bogs in the middle of nowhere wasn't nice. What was nice though is that I met three wonderfully nice ghays there, Bum_Bum, Chunk and TechNick. Oh, I also met Schmee150 and a purple wrapped R8. From that moment I hated him to the core and want to reach through my TV and punch him repeatedly each and every time YouTube brings him up in "Recommended for you" viewing....

While we may not have conveyed ourselves amazingly well at the awards dinner, we were just about the only people there with any sense of humour that night and the evening event was even blander than the food was in our defence ;).

There is a club just for Noggy Blue owners, really? Glad I didn't know that when we had our Noggy S3, as I still wouldn't have joined their forum :biggrin3:.

Who was the knob at the Wales meet that offended them so deeply, I know I wasn't there, was I?

Not petrolheads? Brilliant. I don't believe that I am tooooooo deeply up my own bottom (need to leave room for Chunk on the weekends after all), but I do have an distinct aversion to chavved up, "stanced"(cambered to death or silly stick out rims), bassmobile Audis etc. ;)

Lastly, "Is this the real life, is this potatochop"?

I don't think any of us have hone that far yet. But the guy testing the exhaust noise for the track laps did come over and use this spl meter to check our music and told us it was too loud.

By bassmobile, i mean where either you have converted your entire boot for speakers, or have walled off where your back seats should be and have a load of speakers behind your bonce. As for the exhaust guy, lol.

Our place by the bogs is all-but-guaranteed methinks, the suspected palm-greasing etc. really instils a sense of community between all the different Audi factions out there....

That was a comical thread. Felt like the good old days. I had no idea we were so stigmatised.
