The car is still at Unit 20. Initial diagnosis is ongoing and I’m quite relaxed with Grizz taking his time. We’ve spoken a few times since the car arrived and I am aware that they are working on a Q7 which currently has its engine out.

Will keep everyone updated with a proper diagnosis once I have it 😊

I haven’t brought the chocolate bar yet. If I had it would have been eaten by now. The prize will be purchased and posted within seconds otherwise we’ll end up in a cycle where I buy a prize, I eat a prize.

Just spoken with Grizz again. The car is booked to go back into the workshop next week and we’ll speak again once he comes back from his travels.

I’m definitely missing the giggle machine but absence makes the heart grow fonder!

Well that means we are all losers as I’m sure we’ve all paid for for car repairs before!

Well I just lost £50 buying three glorified rubber bungs that hold up the SAI pump that is already disabled, to replace the knackered ones. £50 for two wiper blades and over £200 for a flaming rear view mirror. Annual service as well at all of three thousand miles done since the last one. Just as well I love the old turnip so (even if I am picking up the C7 tomorrow....).

DUDE, there is being relaxed on a timescale and there is "stick this one to one side then come close to Christmas, figure out how much of a bonus I/the boys need in their take-home and quote accordingly" ;).

Only joking, Grizz isn't like that to my knowledge, but lack of updates on seemingly horizontal timescale vexxes meh.

Fcuk me, 5 13 hours breakless workdays on the trot has me sounding even crazier than usual, didn't think that was actually possible........
Current:

"Brutus"- C5 RS6 Avant - MRC stage 2 - Milltek non-res + 100 cell cats - Wagner ICs - PSS9 - H&R ARBs - OZ Superturismo LM - C6 Custom brakes - HD RNS-E - Various other bits - 555PS/832Nm

Gone:
"Taz"- C7 RS6 - MRC stage 2 - Milltek non-res + 100 cell cats, uprated fuel pumps, race plugs, 745PS/1095Nm
12' Cayenne Turbo, B7 RS4, S3, Cupra R, XJR, EVO VII, STI8,5,2&WRX, 106 GTI&XSI, other crap.

Well (without going into details) I’ve been admitted into psychiatric hospitals three times in the last two years so I genuinely am completely relaxed about what is quite simply a car.

I love my car. I genuinely do. It is one of my genuine loves. But it’s a car and me prioritising my recovery to ensure that I’m still around for my five year old son will always be far more important than anything that has a price tag.

:beerchug:

I am more than willing to wait for Grizz to do his stuff. I stated that to him when he got the car and we have regular chats on the phone to discuss the car and lots of other matters relating to cars, including his recent holiday to Vegas for the motor show over there.
