Is Cryptic Amanda? What happened to her car? Last I knew she was running it at very high figures?

That be her. Don't know what happened to her car, but heard it was parked up growing grass around it. She did drive it like she stole it all the time, so could be engine or box, or both.

You know that box was battered beyond belief over the years, it is probably unrecognisable.

Did someone mention my old box??!!

Fully uprated by 517 Trans , but be aware it has done over 110K miles since, and running high torque (880 Nm). Serviced every 20K miles at MRC. Probably needs a new F125 switch or connector (used to throw a code occasionally when parked up for 24+ hours in the rain when facing downhill!! Cleared as soon as it started to warm up/dry out!

If I were moving it to a new car I'd probably get it to a specialist to replace the (uprated) clutches etc before putting it into another car. Ditto for the TC.

Great box, but well used!!

If it were me, this box would be going in the car after being stripped and checked out.
Grizz would be able to replace the clutches.

I’d have reservations over taking a used box with work having to be done to it, on the basis of would (and I don’t know) that work negate the previous work done by 517? I’d certainly have to know that whoever did the work was comfortable enough that they would only be making the box better and not worse, and then you’d have a potential issue about warranty.

Grizz is aware of what the box does or doesn’t need so once I get the full damage through then I’ll start looking at options in ernest. Feel free to ping me a PM with a cost for the box Dace just so I can add it to the options.

I don't have the box - it's just the one on my old car which now belongs to ShazRS6 (or his insurers). Suggest you PM him if interested.

Firstly, just noticed my typo and apologies for Dace!

In that case I’d leave it anyway as it sounds like I’d have to pay for it to be removed.
