Tune C5 RS6 2003 NA model

Post by RS603 » Tue Sep 18, 2018 4:32 pm

I swapped the RS6 to a standard using an A6 ecu and was wondering if anyone can tune this for me?

Also want to upgrade turbos for more power.

Can anyone help? I will pay

Everything you need to upload an RS6 tune is on http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/
No idea if it'll work though.

If I am reading this right you have swapped an RS6 engine into a normal A6 with a standard A6 ECU. Why not buy a second hand RS6 ECU? A) it will do the job properly. B) it will be quicker, easier and cheaper than mapping another ECU....

Or has he randomly replaced his ECU with one from an A6?

My head hurts :?

That was what I interpreted. Which would be interesting to see if possible - the tune he needs to upload is on nefmoto, so it "could" work as long as it's still a 7.1.1 ECU he's replaced it with.

Hey! Ya sorry for the confusion, didn’t know if I would have a response. So in Canada we only got 90 of the RS6 C5, 2003 year build. They were only automatic so a couple of engineers made what was needed and was changed to a 6 speed manual transmission. Used an A6 for parts for clutch assy and trans, the A6 ECU was used bc of all the locks in the RS6 one

There is no tune for a standard 6 speed RS6 that can be used, it needs to be turned by someone who knows how to do it and there is nobody around here how does, I have had the car for over five years swapped and it runs ok but the guy who did the original swap tune (Daz) passed away they year the swap was done

I have KW VIII suspension, hotchkins sway bars, ultralagara light rims, and have lightened the car by 500 lbs, car is quick but I know there is a lot more power I can access if personal tune

Which model A6 ecu was used? Would have to be forced induction wouldn't it for boost sensing etc etc?

Rule 1 btw.

There is user named "nubcake" on RS6.com that can sort out your ECU. I used him for my 6-speed swap and he was very reasonably priced and easy to work with.
