Chap in Bedford selling her.

You assume it’s a dealer local to the BCA site. Strange how it was pulled again? Maybe it sold however in essence this chaps done nothing wrong as he’s purchased it genuinely through the BCA so there would be no reason for FB pull the ad?

If it had been stolen, the fact that he bought it legitimately further down the line wouldn't mean the car belonged to him.

I'm not sure how the Facebook works but is it maybe due to the car advert before having been flagged as a scam that the all the details like reg, age & mileage are kept so that when ever it pops up again it is automatically taken down again.

Or someone just flagged it as a scam again.

Ive bought the car from bca, been driving it for two days and i cant find a big problem other than cd player not working and the driver seat on a tilt slightly lol , checked the oil and coolant and its fine also dont see any smoke, and i have pounded the car pulls fine. Person on the logbook is called marius and he’s from ilford.. i have his address if anyones wants it. I have the right to return the car to bca with all this info and im pretty sure they would take it back, Just spent 2 hours polishing the beauty. But should i give it back or no?

More than welcome for anyone to contact me on Facebook

There's nothing wrong with the car other than the way it was obtained. "Marius" must have had to register it in his name to be able to sell it to WBAC.

So these european lads scammed the seller and paid him peanuts? Or did they actually steal the car without paying him

Hi Humza,

First of all welcome aboard - I'm the previous owner of your car - you've got a fine Beast!!

Don't worry - no-one here thinks you have done anything wrong - in fact I'm glad you now have the car, and it's no longer in the hands of the "Gang" that "bought" it off me in a a well known scam. So, no need to worry, the car is not stolen or similar! It's simply that they pulled a trick on me and bought it for £3300! My guess is that it went to WBAC at around £4500, and now you have it around £6000 - so everyone is happy! (Well apart from me, but don't worry I'm quite resigned to the situation!) :boohoo:

If you need any info or further background on the car then by all means PM me and I'll happily do my best to fill in any gaps, though most of the history of the car is on here!! You need to make sure you have declared the mods to the insurance - the car is Stage 2 mapped by MRCTuning to 523BHP, and has Wagner intercoolers and Miltek exhaust - those are the main things they will be interested in. Also has upgraded headlights (Morimoto) so you can see at night!

Oh, and you might want to tax the car - it's still showing up as untaxed on DVLA!!

Sorry about the seat - I must be overweight!! And I'm surprised the CD player isn't working (though I rarely used it), but under the armrest you should find the lead to plug in an iPod via the x-car link. Scroll through the source menu a couple of times - the unit alternates (on CD) between the CD player and the x-car link.

Oh, and finally, in the tradition of this forum - FON!! :jump:

Enjoy the Beast, and keep us posted on how she's doing!
