Milestone Mileage

Pulled on to our drive today after a run out with the mileage reading as it is
That’s it now, it’ll have to remain in the garage forever if I’m going to continue to class it as ‘under 50k miles’
Would be interested to know though how many are out there still under 50k, I’m sure there must quite a few?

Wow. That is low mileage. Mines a little higher - I'm on 55150 give or take a few miles.

Why have it if you don't use it ?
I bought mine as a weekend toy in the new year. Been my daily ever since !

It's all down to the previous owner, I bought it last summer with just under 48k miles, he got it in 06 with 29k on so for him 19k in 11 years, now that's not using it
For me it's always going to be a weekend / summer car only so mileage will remain low but no where near as before

Very low. You must of only needed 4 gearboxes so far?

Still on its original box I believe, just been serviced when required, never failed or broken down so no need for a rebuild or replacement.
There's receipts for everything right down to a tyre valve cap in the documented history so I'm sure there would have been a biggy in there for any gearbox work if it'd have had it
(up to now of course but who knows what’s lurking around the corner right)

Makes you wonder how many gearbox failures are down to Audi’s recommendation to never replace fluid.

To be honest, 80085 is a better mileage.
