I have for the past week had some continuous bleeping from the parking sensors from time to time when reversing or going forward slowly but then they sometimes they beep normally straight afterwards which suggests they are working now and again. Has anyone had this issue and can guide me to what might be wrong and the cost to repair?
Thanks all in anticipation
Julian

Sensor(s) on the way out. Vagcom will tell you which one(s).

Thanks. I will get checked out
Re: parking sensor bleep
Crud on the sensor can make them act up too. That's worth checking first and wiping any with dirt off gently with a microfibre cloth.

Re: parking sensor bleep
was a mid centre sensor. Luckily the previous owner left me one in the glove box. The Phirm in Blackwater fitted it for me while doing some other work. So far I am very impressed with them all there. Nice people, open and helpful.
