Sway Bars ? Anti Roll bars ?
Sway Bars ? Anti Roll bars ?
I'm feeling the car is kind of "Wollowy" Back end seems to move around a little, even when not pushing hard.
What options are there to try and sort this down the line ?
I see most people have Hotchkiss ? But I don't see anywhere to get them from ? eBay brings up stuff from the U.S and Canada.
I'm going to need Tyres in a few months time so I am hoping that some 4S's may help somewhat. The Pirelli Run flats that are on it are not the greatest. Would tyres have an effect ? Due to the weight of the car ?
Anything else I can look at ? Cheap as possible since I need to keep some money in reserve for when the car eventually breaks

Re: Sway Bars ? Anti Roll bars ?
What suspension are you on? Shouldn't be wallowy, even with standard ARBs.
Unit20 can get Hotchkiss. I think Tire Rack ships from the US but you'll be stung for VAT and import duty.
The Pirelli are pants on the RS6. The PS4S are awesomeness distilled into rubber form.
Also, I run my tyres at 3 bar.
Also check the condition of your bushes at the rear.

I'm sure it's on KW. What V though I don't know. I have a box in the boot with bits in that I will check.
Maybe wallowy is the wrong word, it kinda feels like the car wobbles from left to right a little bit. It's just been through an MOT so the bushes should be relatively ok, but I guess they wont fail on being slightly worn.
Tyre pressures I think are about 38PSI but will double check tomorrow. I did check some last week, but have found that most places just let air out of the tyres as the nozzle does not sit down on the valve far enough. I have an adapter in my show car, which I didn't expect to need so I will fish that out to use.

Re: Sway Bars ? Anti Roll bars ?
H&r do them although they aren’t really listed on the net much. I’m pretty sure awesome gti can order them in.
Just realised this Is for a c5 so I’m not very sure but it defo is possible for a c6

Re: Sway Bars ? Anti Roll bars ?
Yeah, H&R doing em for the A6 but not RS6 specifically.

Re: Sway Bars ? Anti Roll bars ?
I’ve considered importing the hotchkiss myself, are they worth it?
Re: Sway Bars ? Anti Roll bars ?
Could they be sent as a gift if you know someone living in the U.S ?
Re: Sway Bars ? Anti Roll bars ?
People that have had them rave about them.
You could try the gift route, but isn't that up to $50 max?

Bit dodge, frankly. And you won't get a reputable supplier to do it.
Summit Racing & use their iParcel service. No extra charges, all (VAT & Duty) paid upfront, lowest shipping charges - best you'll get TBH.
