This has happened a few times and probably nothing but when the blower for the front window has been switched full on (the one in the centre) small bits of foam/sponge get blown out ???
I had this on my S6 some times aswell, any ideas ?
Gav.
Anyone had this before?
Re: Anyone had this before?
Yes. It's the foam lining inside your heater unit that is decomposing with age. My Golf 2 did this for about 2 years and then one day there was none left. So in that respect, it's an easy fix.
Daytona RS6 C5 Avant. Viper'd, Billies, Waggers, MTM box brain, C6 stoppers, xcarlink, R8 coolant cap (woohoo)

Weight reduction for the win!

Turn the blower on full pelt with the windows down, it clears up when the loose <beep> gets bored of life. Like the Monty Python sketch with the tree in The Meaning of Life.
