I'm going too try and find a less Intrusive solution too the heat soak and cold air feed issue , I really don't like the thought of cutting into the bodywork . I had thought about going through the high beam section of the headlamps with cold air feeds , but it may look a little too rally slag for the kind of car that it is

Thought I'd heard about the C6 having fans that cool the intercoolers?
Be nice to have air blown across an open filter.
Obviously gonna blow dirt onto it though?

I don't like the thought of relying on an electrical fan too know at at the intakes personally, I'd prefer a good cold air source if possible.
Using fans on the IC's is common practice, along with co2 cooling loops , and water sprays and charge cooling .
However I'm opting for meth injection too help with the cooling from the inside.
The biggest problem on them is space , or lack of as it were .
Every thing is shoehorned in and finding extra space for things is very difficult.
I've freed up a little space by removing the SIA system, but it's not proving too be Pertically useful space so far .
Cheers Al

The C6 fans are mainly needed when the car isn't moving - stuck at lights etc - and getting no airflow, rather than when driving. However they are very large and cover around 60% of the frontal area of the IC so, during my C6 engine work, I didn't fit them to my new after market IC's as I reasoned that, my personal driving style is about full acceleration only whilst already moving rather than from static like a drag race (or dyno), so I valued having more airflow hit the IC face whilst moving rather than keeping the temps down when static at a drag race (don't do), traffic lights or on a dyno etc.

Epic dyno run. I love those wheels too. I wanted to get those wheels years ago but they're not a good fitment in 19s, those are probably 20s.
No matter where you go, there you are.

Was that a street tune, race tune etc?

Would think twin 7163s would make 1000hp unless that power is atw?
