Non standard wheels

Post by benh999 » Sun Dec 03, 2017 1:23 pm

Folks, I find the RS6 is a very hard car to find alloys that suit it.. The 5 spoke OE ones are nice but I find a little bland and dated.

Does anyone have any pics of alloys that suit the car whether they be off another VAG car or aftermarket?

Chunky has some of the nicest wheels I've seen on an RS6.

The MTM bimoto that Mavada has are very good looking also.

The Sportec ones are good. Can't remember what they're called.

Bam had some lush HRE wheels on Darth.

There was a wheel thread on here.

But yeah, most aftermarket wheels look gash.

I don't like the C6 wheels. Lots of people put those on. I do like the B7 RS4 wheels and they suit the car, but for some reason it bothers me mixing wheels from a different model.

Non original wheels on the C5 looks pants in my opinion, very chav. TBH the whole car looks dated now but that's the appeal to me, retro is cool. I think the C5 should be kept as close to OEM as possible. Spacers and coilovers are as far as I would go otherwise it just ruins the look.

Don't like the first set. The 2nd set are the Sportec I was thinking about. I might have gone off them a bit.

There was a pic of a black RS6 with what looked like early R8 wheels on and I thought it looked awesome. I’m with you I feel the wheels look dated. I wouldn’t mind them but they’re 8.5 x 19 if I changed mine they’d have to be 9s all around.

Lots of people like them. I don't. I have been trying to find pics of the bimoto and other wheels, but every image is bloody photobucket and I can't post them! C-units. I hope they go bust soon.
