Is it the one that goes up the front of the rad for cooling? Mine was all right when all my oil cooler pipes were rotten. Is it the same one on other variants of the a6?

Sorry - can't help you there. My one was fine. Audi pipes (RS specific) seem to be stupidly expensive.

The oiler cooler pipes seem to have the same issue. There's a DIY guide on here about replacing those with generic flexis but not sure its applicable for that one.
