Downpipes audi rs6 2003

What is envolved when replacing exhaust downpipes with decat or sports cat.

You'll need to lower the back half of the engine on its subframe to get access too the bolts on the exhausts you'll also need too pull the wiring through from the top for the two upper lambdas.
But be careful you don't lower it too much and damage any wiring , pipework or mounts.
I would guess you'd want the prop out the way too so you'll loose some oil which needs replacing .

You don't lose any oil by dropping the prop shaft.

My car WAS decatted for a few years, but the previous owner had some 200 cell sports cats made up by Powervalve in Merseyside, about a year ago.
