Well after 8 years of shall I get one or not plus chickening out twice before when having the opportunity I finally got one today
After my wanted post from a few weeks back I got a PM straight away and now I'm the proud 3rd only owner of Barrys 48k miles Red C5 RS6 Saloon he's had for 11 years.
The saying 'Credit to it's previous owner' is a major understatement here, the car has wanted for nothing, full documented history and is absolutely mint, covering a mere 20k miles in his ownership, if there was one to go for then this was it especially as it's my first choice colour, cost a bit more than I originally budgeted for but I think well worth it and if I can look after it half as good as Barry did then it should remain a very nice example.
Another thing is it was first registered in my town so has technically come home to Huddersfield, what were the odds eh?
Hoping to get the most out of it for the remainder of the summer and attend a few shows / meets if there's any in this area
Big thanks again to Barry, an extremely nice guy and a lovely family, I know you were sad to see it go
Finally Got One
Re: Finally Got One
Weirdly I spotted a Misano Red C5 saloon this afternoon just past the Black Bull in midgley heading towards Huddersfield, looked gleaming and just right on the road. There was also a Sprint Blue B7 avant just a couple of cars in front.
