Evening everyone
I removed the drc suspension last weekend and replaced it with pss9. Everything went well apart from one bolt! (Why does there always have to be one bolt? )
After driving it for the last week I'm still having some issues, there seems to be quite a lot of juddering through the suspension and sometimes pedals when going over potholes. There is way to many on the roads now!! I was wondering if anyone had any ideas what could be coursing this? It had an mot the week before last and passed with no advisories.

How low is it?

What number have you got the struts set on?

What were your top mounts like when you changed over the shocks? Mine where cracked badly.Also what are all your front arms like?

It's about 10mm lower than what it was before I started, the struts where on 4 but turned then down to 2 to see if it would make any difference but it just made it a bit softer. Both my top mounts where cracked just like the Ines in the picture I brought front and rear replacements. All the front arms seemed fine I am planning on renewing the whole lot somewhen. Someone I've spoken to said maybe the subframe bushes?

Do you have play in your brake and throttle pedal bushes??

I haven't checked the pedal bushes, I'll check tomorrow. Are they easy to replace? If they are buggered it maybe adding to the problem. The car feels a little skittish over bumpy roads.

Nah, the bushes are a byatch to replace. I'd put money on it that they have play in them, and they really do make it feel like the suspension is loose and rattling.

I think there's a cable tie mod for the sloppy pedals, try a search on this forum.

On mine there is no juddering or vibration. However, the PSS9 don't like big bumps or dips as there isn't much travel before the springs bind. If you are hitting big defects and getting spring bind, that is an unpleasant sensation.

that begs the question - Should I go for an Air Ride setup

Has anyone aired a C5 for every day use?
