it has been a while since i last posted here.

but the cr is serving mewell,107k and no real faults aside from the consumables abnd above ave servicing costs

So a prob just occred.

driving a week or so ago, noticed the volt reading blippingbetween 12-14v - basically alternator was inthe way out.

just prior to pulling up the voltmeter spiked to c15v and then sat back to 12v- basicallly alternator died now on battery power.

got car to garage on AA flatbed and new alternator is installed

drove car today and noticed no power to rns e unit. also buttons are not lighting up when headlights are on. All other lightsare working.

i checked fuse on mother board (think satnavsystem is number 17 as per manual notprob there

Question- is the prob the fuse behind the satnav unit itself? before getting the unit out is there anything else i should check?
