Just picked up my first RS, after along list of car that just didn't quite scratch the itch. I'm hoping this one is a keeper.

Bought two missing wheel bolts (!!!) yesterday and enjoyed a quick blast between north Leeds, where I Iive and Harrogate and Wetherby.

Already spotted a fair amount of stuff that needs sorting, which is okay as it is supposed to be a bit of a project to keep me away from motorbikes !! A wheel refurb and new rubber this month, probably followed by new discs and pads next and it'll be going in to sort out some bumper scuffs. Got a few questions for you guys too !

Anyhoo, hope you like the piccies, from the dealers website. Haven't got round to taking any decent ones yet.

Cheers AJC.

I should have added that it's had one owner for the last 12 years, who spent an absolute fortune in maintenance but cosmetically it's not great, but I've got a 1" folder with every invoice, MOT certificate etc. The last service in Jan this year cost £4k........ouch.

Sounds like you've picked up a well loved car , It's always nice to see a massive chunk of invoices . Make sure itshe have plenty of love thrown at the gearbox in way of oilchanges or replacement. I'm sure your aware how temprementle they can be .

Welcome fella! She looks grand!
Don't fixate on costs too much, as it's all we seem to bang on about on here. We all know its a risk but we still buy them LOL!!!! I for one would be rather driving around in an RS6 than putting same sort of money in to a boring car per month paying it off.
I'm not far from you as only live at Micklefield and visit Wetherby a lot. I'll keep my eye out for a red blur? ;-)

FON mate! She looks lovely! As others have said don't worry about cost as it sounds well looked after but it's going to cost a bit if you keep it for a while and drive it properly! So welcome to the "I hate money club" :audibash: :D
