Anyone any idea whether this is a genuine Audi cover or after market. If so which manufacturer if anyone knows?

Re: Opinions please
Looks like it's for a C7.

Thanks for that. Looks great and pretty much the same other than colour and extra graphics . Any idea what they cost normallyY7TSY wrote:Just to give you an idea if you do go for it the c7 cover it fits the c5 well, I have got a genuine c7 microfibre lined one as seen below and it fits pretty much bang on!

Re: Opinions please
Think they are around £250 for the microfibre lined one, I got this second hand off here though.
Re: Opinions please
It's really difficult to find a good cover. Genuine OE ones are invariably the best quality. If that's a genuine one, then I'd get it. Have you asked the vendor?
I use a cheap one on my RS6 to keep the dust off it in the garage. No one sees it so I don't care how it looks as long as it works. The problem with some of the cloth covers (as I found out with the more expensive ones I tried) is that they actually let really fine dust through to the car. Now I always get weatherproof covers, even for indoors.

Re: Opinions please
Thanks for the replies Shop and Y7TSY
I wanted to know because I bought one of these from the same seller last week ( cheaper mind) and then he put another up for sale straight away.
Seems to be a quality bit of kit , fleece lined has Audi symbol on label but also says 'sample 1' ?
I was intrigued as to whether it was genuine or not and the cost. Doesn't fit the saloon quite as well but good enough for the price

Re: Opinions please
Well, it's good to know you weren't planning on buying this one, and that it's a good fit for the C5 - this meant I felt empowered without causing a forum conflict.....

Re: Opinions please
Yeah nice one . I was watching it on eBay and saw the bid. I wondered if it was someone off here. I think you'll be well pleased when it arrives.MattV8 wrote:Well, it's good to know you weren't planning on buying this one, and that it's a good fit for the C5 - this meant I felt empowered without causing a forum conflict.....
The seller has now listed a similar cover for an a3 saloon so I contacted him to see if he can do one for my rs3. Clearly he has a source of them as he says he is going to check .
Re: Opinions please
Yeh, I do tend to follow first dibs, so if you'd not said you weren't buying it, I wouldn't have bidded.

As not everyone is necessarily as principled as you I thought it safer to take a punt and get one then ask questions afterwards.MattV8 wrote:Yeh, I do tend to follow first dibs, so if you'd not said you weren't buying it, I wouldn't have bidded.
