I considered these https://www.girodisc.com/Girodisc-Front ... _6543.html , but didn't follow through as a) were too tight with 18' winter wheels b) had a new set of Pagids in the garage, but might go for this or similar next time.
Have been using their pads ( I think magic rather than SS) and very happy with them. https://www.girodisc.com/Pads_c_1172.html
Admittedly it helped that I was able to pick up and bring back from US on a work trip. With duty / shipping a local option may be better.

Price seems OK. Have you given the pads any serious (ab)use?

Shop, not really. I'm really gentle on brakes ( too many years of gentle braking on aircraft), probably need to use them harder to re bed in as get slight judder.
But they do work well, especially when warm but not as good as the brakes on the Airbus 330!

I'd definitely want to know in an aircraft if the brakes were going to stop me in extremis! I saw some aircraft brake testing. It passed if the brakes didn't catch fire for 3 minutes or something. Enough time for the fire crew to arrive. On the 3 minute mark, the brakes burst into flames. I had a similar experience with cheap RS6 pads. :)
