If I were going to buy cheapo pads, I'd probably get Brembo. Or AP. Same thing.

Cheers Shopp.

I don't drive the car hard so have no need for super expensive pads.

I think I'll be parting with it soon anyway. It's just had a major service this week and I'm looking to sort a few issues which were highlighted before possibly advertising it.

I got my rear discs and pads from Euro Car Parts. The misses found an online voucher code for them for 35% off. Not sure if its still active but for rear discs and pads it was around £800 down to £530 after the discount. From memory the code was CLEAR55 got to be worth a try.
What pads though?
Brembo Pads. They were only £20 more than the Pagid ones from memory and with the discount even less difference than that.

I've just ordered Zimmermanns and Brembos.

Does anyone know if the pins are available for less than £28 a side?

I looked up part no 3D0698269 online and can't see them any cheaper.

Think you can get them on sites like Misterauto. I have changed loads of pads and never needed to replace the pins or springs. The new kits I bought about 8 years ago are sitting there unused.

I'm sure the ones already fitted will be fine, but knowing my luck if I don't get them something will go pear shaped.

The bits look a lot like this:

It's only really the pins you're interested in. Can you measure yours?

So why are you thinking of selling anyway ? Didn't you buy yours not that long ago ? Sure you got it only a short time before I got mine in January ?

Christmas Eve. I just can't justify the running costs and I'm using it as a daily and it's too good a car for that I think.
I love it and it will be a sad day when it goes but such is life!

The 2 front discs came to £346. Bargain.

Discount code for ECP is MAY75 if anyone's interested.

ECP would start a 50% off deal just after I bought mine with 35% off! haha
