Spinning wheels

Hi guys,

My rs6 is stage 2 tuned pushing 811nm torque (mrc tuned). But I find that when I aggressively build the revs and floor it at 3k in 2nd the torque seems to spin the wheels. Has anyone else experienced this?

I've changed both aluminum legs on both front hubs, put new top arms (bottom are relatively new), fitted kw v1 coilovers, changed diff oils but nothing has helped, the spin remains.

The next thing I was thinkin is tyres, at the moment I've got Bridgestone potenzas on, maybe these are causing the issue?

Any input appreciated.

Cheers,

Anil

They're not referred to as Tombstones for nothing.

Rule 44

Don't think I've ever managed to spin my wheels with PS2 on.

Other than a 1st gear "launch" my Goodyear F1AS2's never even chirped until you came to a tight corner on the track and they turned into Hollywood stunt tyres screeching everywhere :D

Haha I hadn't realised they were that bad. Thanks for the input guys, looks like a new set of tyres is on the cards.

I had 600BHP and 846Nm. I could lose traction in 2nd and even high revs in 3rd with GY F1s and PSS tyres on, the TC off. It would generally be either cold road or a little wet/icy. I imagine with a shiter tyre they'd be spinning up more.

Lose the Tombstones, they're for women.

Lose the Tombstones, they're for cryptics.
