Flashing Esp light on hard acceleration

Hi, wondering if anyone has had this. I've never had the esp light flashing for traction on hard acceleration before but I'm now getting it constantly on heavy acceleration. I have recently had tyres replaced on rear but I'd be surprised if they would spin up all the way through gears on Quattro system, anyone experienced anything similar ( recently had gearbox rebuilt due to failure and a little worried it's a gearbox issue)

Happy to be corrected, but I can't think of a circumstance how it could be gearbox. I can think of lots of circumstances where it could be electrical related though - one of the plugs jogged on the way out/in with the engine etc. Probably time to plug VCDS in.

Could be bad load calculations due to mixture problem.

How is your idle?

a Vagcom is going to be useful to diagnose.

Is the car modded in any way?
If so, Often, there is a mismatch error with what power the engine tells the ECU it puts out and what the wheels tell the ECU they are receiving.
This means that the ECU thinks the wheels are spinning faster than the vehicle is travelling (i.e wheelspinning).
However, when that happens, the ECU DOESN'T cut the power like it would if one wheel was spinning (i.e skidding).

I think that made sense? Usually, a short trip to your re-mapper should correct that.
Obviously, there are other reasons why this can happen.... the above is only my experience thus far.

The replacement tyres were identical in size, and pressures have been checked as well in all four corners?
