i heard that the next rs6 is gonna have a 520bhp v10 in it. is it true or jus a load of BS? i heard it from an audi employee so sshhh [img]images/graemlins/sekret.gif[/img]

For the new lambo gallardo is's ok with 500 hp. [img]images/graemlins/thumbs.gif[/img] [img]images/graemlins/clap.gif[/img] But not an AUDI rs6!!

Yes.. you are quite correct.. news is that the next RS6 will have the lambo V10.. no-one is quite sure of the power output but some have mentioned 500bhp.

It will be interesting to see wether or not they turbo-charge the unit.. you could be looking at nearer 600bhp [img]images/graemlins/clap.gif[/img]

Hmm, the rumour mill is going into overdrive on all kinds of things at the moment.

I heard that the next S8 is planned to be something that gives the RS 6 a run for it's money, and that came from an Audi employee too. Doesn't mean it right though.

Having said that, if the new S8 is nearer 500bhp (this has been rumoured) with a 6 speed tiptronic box, then the next RS 6 will really have to be something to outshine that.

The current thinking (as I'm sure most of you already know) is that the 'S' cars will be normally aspirated.. so the S8 may well be 500bhp V10.

The RS cars are twin turbo (so far), so we could be looking at the 600bhp version seen in the concept coupe.
