Veredestein Ultrac Vorti were the best tyres by miles I had on my C5's - amazing grip and durability. Currently on Oponeo at £101 a corner delivered

I've got Michelin Supersports, and to be honest they are great, not cheap though.
Mate also had them on his 600brake S4

Vreds good for budget tyre.

Going to get LPG conversion too? Why put cheap tyres on a sports car, I just don't get it.

Oh... Im so sorry mr Billy Big Bucks that my budget can't exceed your expectations but if you've got so much spare cash laying around for fancy tyres, a donation to the cause is much appreciated ;)

Slap a set of PS2's on. They're in your budget at £135 a corner, and that's cheap enough for anyone surely.

If it's still too much, cut down on hookers for a month, or ask your mum for a loan ;)

Sounds like you bought a car you can't afford to run.
Fancy tyres? Fancy car??
If you drive an RS6 like it was made to be driven, you need GOOD tyres, not fancy, not cheap.

Or park it up, you can still tell your mates you own an RS6 just can't afford to run it

I pity you when something needs doing... Tyres are almost a negligable cost!
Not saying that to be a prick, but you do need a slush fund to keep these going.

I'm just waiting for the -
What brakes can I get for £30? Or will my foot on the rear tyre slow my quickly enough?
Can I run my car on rain water? This car won't even do 14mpg.
Gearbox has gone, where's the best place to cut a hole in the floor so I can use my feet like the Flinstones?

Take it you have just bought a damaged car due to your wing replacement post? Have you gone for a metal wing or paper mache?

If you've owned the car for a while then you must know that they cost a lot to run and go like shyte-of-a-metal implement. Why not save up another weeks pocket money and buy good tyres (fancy), not affordable ones???? Just thinking of your safety and actually other road users too.

Anyone had any experience of Avon ZZ5's on a C5 RS6? When I bought the car a couple of months ago, it had a complete new set fitted by the previous owner.

So far, no real issues. They seem to grip well in both the wet and dry.

I've had Avon's before on other cars but not on anything this powerful. Just wondering if I need to look at getting them changed over for something better.
