DIY - How to save your oil cooler
Re: DIY - How to save your oil cooler
That banjo connector just about addresses the clearance issue, doesn't it. Nice one.

Re: DIY - How to save your oil cooler
Thanks Classic,
Ive ordered the parts albeit the extension and 90 degree are different based on what Torques had available but hopefully achieve the same solution so its in the lap of the delivery gods now. I managed to source the gearbox hose that was damaged removing the cooler, the other one is okay so hopefully we have a solution to all hoses, I'll post up pictures once complete and all installed. I greatly appreciate everyones input to helping me out with this problem, thank you to everyone who has contributed.

Re: DIY - How to save your oil cooler
Glad it helps, but credit where credit is due, I just made a small adaptation from Matt's solution.
Good news is that it's very solid once it's all in place, particularly with a new cooler with threads in perfect shape (which was not my case): never got a drop of oil since.

Re: DIY - How to save your oil cooler
BTW Just make sure the Torques solution gives you enough vertical extension otherwise you won't go over the gearbox hose. Simply putting the 90deg adapter above the banjo won't give you that...
