Yeah but they stenciled a "517" ontop, that's gotta be worth another 5Nm, right?

Six months wait, why was that?

What exactly have you had beefed on the trans, gone fully monty on it?

Is it all running now? What power? Really happy for you chap, you must be over the moon with all that done :).

I considered selling the 6 this year (Madam told me feck off, it is hers now) but every time I drive it and plant the pedal, I am reminded why I would be a <beep> if I did, it effortlessly batters everything out there that I come across. I really do wish the gearbox would die so I have no choice but to uprate it but it just keeps on going.....

I did the full monty on the gearbox.

and it is in one piece again, I did about 300Km right now on the new goodies.

I hope the inside of the gearbox is better than the people skills and paint skills from Sam at 517.

each time I mailed them I got the reply it will be ready next week and that kept on for 6 months.

power wise I dont know yet before all this it did 513PS and 804NM with a MRC stage 2 but I talked to Doug yesterday and I will probably go over to MRC on the 31th of may to do a upgrade on the stage 2 and see what he can get out of it.

Specwise sounds very like mine - Waggies, MRC Stage 2 and 517 box.

I got Doug to map mine for max torque (880Nm at about 3000 RPM - makes the car a LOT of fun!
Enjoy

529 IIRC - but I asked for max torque, not max power - it makes the car amazing at mid range which is where I want the accelleration, rather than at peak revs

Mid range acceleration is great and totally viable for real world driving... but that very occasional use of a decent turbocharged top end rush is sooo addictive imo :FIREdevil:

I am with Dave, Torgues above all else for me. The 4 does my head in, except for once she goes above 5k and pulls half-decently.
