Picked Up my RS6 Last Night

I have loved the RS6 ever since it came out, the flared arches just do it for me, and last night after a long, long search, I picked one up.
Many thanks for all of your help with my random, inane questions.
It's a 2004 car with 75k miles, all original apart from recently fitted Bilstein PSS9s and the wheel colour.
Well, after an 80 mile drive, I love it. Real effortless power, and a fantastic soundtrack. The quattro traction makes it pretty formidable.
I have a couple of minor bits and pieces I'm going to do, get the ride height raised and wheels refurbed, and I will keep you posted as to how I get on. I'll get some better pics too.
But now - time for another drive
Now I have 2 blue estate cars

Welcome to the fold. I hope you have lots of fun and not too many headaches with it.
It is rather apt that your first pic of it is at a petrol station!

Happy motoring.
One of the nicest colours ( if not the fastest, according to some!)

Yeah, I know. Saw a Mugello with titanium wheels there just at the roundabout at the M40 junction. Took the Cirencester direction. Which is an odd place to be signposted from Warwick.

Many thanks Guys.
I'm up in Edinburgh, so hopefully the car wasn't in Warwick today
I'm really loving it so far. It's got a good history, with the Bilsteins fitted, cambelt fitted and gearbox oil changed in December, amongst other things, so fingers crossed!
Jobs planned are:
- Suspension raised - going to take it to Audi Technik in Glasgow who fitted it;
- 2 rear tyres - going to get Pirelli P Zero Rossos to match the pair recently fitted to the front. £150 each at tyreleader so not too bad.
- Wheels refurbished - I can't decide whether to put them back to silver, or keep the dary grey colour. I will mull over it. Does anyone have the paint code for the original silver colour?
I will get some better pics up soon.

Pirelli pzero's? Oh dear. Please get a new set of better tyres, especially as you have a lot of wet weather up there.
I thought you'd be Scotland way due to the Ecosse in your name. What is the Ecosse all about?

The Pirellis on the front are almost new, so I'll get a matching set on the rear for now. I'm more of a Michelin Pilot Sport fan, so I'll change to them when this set is done.
Ecurie Ecosse is an old racing team from Edinburgh who won at Le Mans in the 50s in Jaguar D types.

P zeros are crap. You're bonkers putting them on the rear just because you've got them in the front. Get some PS2 on the rear and when you can't live with the understeer any longer, put them in the front, too.

+1 on the pzeros fella I had those and they just understeer all over the place, changed to the contis and I love em much more grippy in all conditions especially the wet. My advise would be flog the new pzeros and get new contis or similar all round.
nice motor though theres one like that near me ( down saaaaf ) and I always stop and have a gawp
