FS: Possibly the best C5 RS6+ in the UK

Post by Ceveman73 » Mon Feb 17, 2014 11:16 am

After 3.5 years of outstanding service, I am selling my beloved C5 RS6+. IMHO it is arguably the best example of the C5 RS6 available in this country, with a meticulous history, excellent condition and an expensive portfolio of sensible modifications carried out by MRC. I bought her from the first owner in July 2010 at 16k miles, at which time the car was standard. Since then, I have serviced the car every 6 months at MRC tuning and carried out a yearly gearbox service as preventative maintenance. The car comes with 20inch C6 wheels on Toyo tyres (fitted 6 months ago), as well as a set of C5 plus wheels with almost new Conti winter tyres. No peeling on any of the matt interior plastic trim as is common on many cars of this age. Interior is natural leather with grey alcantara headlining.

Car: C5 RS6 Plus
Reg’d: Dec 2004 / 54 Reg
Colour: Daytona grey pearl
Mileage: 54,000 miles
Owners: 2
History: Audi and MRC tuning
Last serviced: last week at MRC
Recent consumables: New Toyo tyres fitted 6 months ago. Front discs and pads fitted 6 months ago. Spark plugs and gearbox service 6 months ago. All suspension arms replaced 2 years ago. Front adjustable suspemsionarms fitted 2 months ago.

Full Miltek resonated exhaust, black tips.
Miltek catless downpipes, original DPS also supplied
Uprated Wagner intercoolers
Hotchkiss anti roll bars
Stage 2 tune 540ps
Ohlins coilovers (cost £4000)
Adjusatble front suspension arms

£17,500 with C6 & C5 wheels

£16,500 with C5 wheels only

Peelers look better in dark colours. Like.

Ohlins are fab. Definitely the best thing I've done to the car. Compliant ride, but no more bounciness and wallowing in bends that I always suffered with the Bilsteins. Well worth the money. :)

He couldn't be accused of being unhelpful. Well, he could, then it would be an accusation.

Mart, sort out the badge, it's doing my teeth in.
