Another plaudit for Unit20

Post by snowbeast666 » Thu Aug 22, 2013 8:42 pm

Just got home from a very long day with Martin and Rhian at Unit20. Had rear discs and pads, bilstein PSS9's, intercoolers, gearbox service and remap. I'm amazed that he managed to do it all in the day seeing how the old DRC units felt so attached to the car they didn't want to come off. I even helped by looking for his left handed screwdriver that he seemed to have misplaced, his tyre wall ladders, his elbow grease and even after 4 hours I couldn't find his long weight. The drive home to Nottingham was sheer heaven.
To Martin and Rhian a massive Thank You
I'd post pics but can't with tapatalk

The long weight is usually stored next to the long stand, try there next time.

RS6MTM your car looked and sounded awesome. I thought Martin and I would have to find some cushions for the chap who picked it up to sit on and blocks for him to reach the pedals he seemed so small.

Good, burn those crappy Sportmaxx GT tyres up and I can get some decent rubber on.

I was wondering why the seat was so far forward when I went to lift it today. Many thanks to Martin and the team for all their hard work.

I havent driven the car yet but I look forward to doing so and updating when I get a chance!
